UCF MSA Presents Boonaa Mohammed - When the World Changed: The life of the Prophet of Islam

Friday, April 20, 2012 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Internationally acclaimed spoken word poet, Boonaa Mohammed, will be shedding light on the life of the Prophet of Islam through a beautiful and unique presentation.

Who was Prophet Muhammad?
What did he believe in?
What message did he spread?
All of this and more will be answered by Boonaa Mohammed!

This event is designed with hopes to spread diversity and knowledge amongst the student body. This will be a free event, and we encourage everyone to attend.

Dubbed the “voice of a generation,” Boonaa Mohammed is a critically acclaimed award winning writer and performer with accolades including a playwright residency at Theatre Passe Muraille, a short story published in a Penguin Canada anthology called “Piece by Piece” and various slam poetry titles credits including winner of the 2007 CBC Poetry Face-Off “Best New Artist” award.
