Guest speaker from National Human Genome Research Institute, NIH

Dr. Kyungjae Myung, senior investigator for the Genetics and Molecular Biology Branch of the National Institutes of Health’s National Human Genome Research Institute, will speak on “Evolutionary conserved DNA repair pathways; Molecular mechanism and clinical implication” in Health and Public Affairs Building II on Tuesday, April 24 at 9:30 a.m.

The talk will be presented live in HPA II 345 and will be simulcast at the College of Medicine in room BBS 103. Dr. Myung’s laboratory investigates genome instability by examining the mechanisms of DNA repair and replication, as well as their roles in the production and suppression of gross chromosomal rearrangements (GCRs).
