Ryan Stahl is the founder and chief executive officer of Equinox Development Properties, a commercial real estate development company specializing in retail and mixed-use projects. With a history and family roots in real estate, Ryan founded Equinox in 2006 with a focus on cultivating lasting retail relationships by providing a level of service that is both strategic and detailed. As CEO, he is responsible for the overall operations of the company and the vision of the ground up developments. The company continues long term multi-development relationships with retailers such as Wawa, Chuy’s, Cheddars & Publix.

Prior to forming Equinox, Ryan held positions with both local and national development companies. He spent seven years with Opus South where he developed projects ranging from grocery-anchored shopping centers and mid-rise office buildings to industrial distribution facilities. He then spent two years as a senior vice president with Pelloni Development, where he was responsible for developing multiple mixed-use projects.

Starting Equinox prior to the recession and seeing the impact to the local community has encouraged the employees of Equinox to focus on giving back to the community by both time & money to over 25 charities in the community on an annual basis. While Ryan has received numerous awards through the years in recognition of the many development projects, the company’s ability to give back to the community has been its biggest accomplishment.
