Foamsmithing is the art of creating props and costumes using different types of foam products, and many of the tools needed are available for you to use right here in the Curriculum Materials Center Library. Whether for cosplay or movie prop, we'll show you the basic tools and materials you’ll need to get started. Foam comes in all shapes, sizes, densities and prices that will fit your budget. We’ll discuss what software to use and where to find easy, ready-made templates. You'll learn all the steps needed from concept, cutting, assembly and painting.
