Join us on Wednesday, March 6, 10:00 am EST/8:30 pm IST for an interactive webinar with Geeta Wahi Dua, Landscape Architect and Co-Founder and Co-Editor of LA, Journal of Landscape Architecture. She will be sharing the process of curating her book Bagh - e - Bahar "Garden as Universe, Universe as Garden" (Created as part of India Art, Architecture Design Biennale 2023, for the Ministry of Culture, Government of India) and showcasing a few examples. The book, envisioned in the realms of mythical, real, and imagined, celebrates the idea of a "garden" in the context of India. The selected gardens, with strong attributes toward philosophical, environmental, and design aesthetics cover diverse geographies, manifest in multiple scales, and reflect the rich natural and cultural heritage of the country.

Wahi Duais is co-editor of the book Landscape Architecture in India, A Reader. She completed her M. Architecture (Landscape Architecture) at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. This event will be moderated by Arboretum Director Jennifer Elliott. Find the link to register in the Arboretum Instagram LinkTree in bio.
