UCF Choirs: An Evening of Consolation and Hope featuring Brahms' Requiem

Friday, April 12, 2024 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

This event is part of UCF Celebrates the Arts 2024.

This choral program offers a unique contrast, showcasing the delicate beauty of soprano-alto repertoire before transitioning to the monumental depths of Brahms’ Requiem. It is a journey through light and shadow, grief and hope – ultimately leaving the audience with a sense of profound consolation and renewed faith. This concert will feature UCF’s large choral ensembles – SoAl, Chamber Choir and University Singers – as well as faculty and students of the UCF Symphony Orchestra, and special guests Samantha Barnes Daniel and Thomas Potter.
