Meet the “Hidden Artists” during an opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, in the UCF Library, Room 223. Everyone is welcome to attend.
University of Central Florida has many talented employees who use their creativity in their daily jobs. Some of these employees are “visual artists” who create artwork on their own time for the...mselves, their families and/or for the public. They are the “Hidden Artists.“
The exhibit features the talents of:

Russ Muller – UCF Regional Campuses
Fiona Murphy – Human Resources
Diane Colvin Reitz – Student Financial Assistance, SMCA
Tina Tran – Student Financial Assistance, SMCA
Artwork will be exhibited on the Art Wall as well in five glass display cases and encompasses a variety of styles and mediums, including stain glass, photography, mixed media, acrylic, watercolor, oil, sculpture, graphic, digital, and “nature” art.
Becoming a tradition, this is the fourth year the Hidden Artists will exhibit artwork at the UCF Library. “We already reserved the gallery space for August 2013,” says Judy Pardo, coordinator for the Hidden Artists. “For new blossoming artists, exhibiting at the UCF Library is a friendly step into the art world,” says Pardo. “Many Hidden Artists have gone on to enter juried exhibitions and had their work displayed in other galleries.”
The Hidden Artists exhibition will be on display at the UCF Library on August 1-31.
The exhibition brings together creativity and community. Hidden Artists membership is open to currently working UCF faculty or staff members who create artwork. For more information, email: judyart23@aol.com.
