Dr. Dale Whittaker became the University of Central Florida’s Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs on Aug. 1. Prior to his arrival at UCF, Dr. Whittaker served in multiple faculty and leadership positions at Purdue and Texas A&M universities. He most recently served as Purdue’s acting vice president for student affairs and was vice provost for undergraduate academic affairs since 2010. He is also a professor of agricultural and biological engineering. Dr. Whittaker holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in agricultural engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in the same field from Texas A&M.
