Whether you're a faculty member or staff member, this series offers a valuable opportunity to explore the intersection of AI and academia and to connect with others who share your interest.

Grab your lunch and join us online for engaging discussions, insightful presentations and the opportunity to learn how AI is shaping the future of UCF and beyond.

Join us for the 1st session in the UCF AI Lunch & Learn series: UCF Libraries

Wednesday, July 10, 2024
Noon-1pm (45 min talk, 15 min Q&A)

In this first AI Lunch & Learn of the series, learn more about the UCF Libraries and their approach to exploring the possibilities with AI through a myriad of activities, including the development of an AI Interest Group to increase AI literacy, the creation of a AI Research Guide, and the planning of a multi-month exploratory program for small cohort of library employees eager to dive into the world of AI. Learn about the Libraries’ participation in a research study with other UCF colleagues on gathering evidence of how instructional practices at many national institutions are evolving, especially considering AI. Hear from librarians who piloted Co-Pilot for a month, use AI regularly to help with digitization and digital accessibility, and partner with faculty to enhance research, teaching, and learning using a variety of AI tools.
