"Write Here, Write Now, Write On" - National Day On Writing Celebration

Tuesday, October 15, 2024 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Join the campus-wide celebration of the National Day on Writing by stopping by Trevor Colbourn Hall on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to write, reflect, and share your writing.

There will be several ways to participate, including contributing to the #YouAreHere and #WhyIWrite initiatives, writing to your local elected representative, and more. Come share your stories and write for change!

The National Day on Writing was established “to draw attention to the remarkable variety of writing we engage in” and to help writers from all walks of life recognize how important writing is to their lives. This holiday celebrates composition in all its forms by individuals from all walks of life. The National Day on Writing® – NCTE Website
