Constructing a New Workforce

The Strong Voices Strong Subject lecture, Constructing a New Workforce with national expert Dr. Craig Miller from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, a branch of Pennsylvania State University. 


Our goal for this event is to engage Florida in a conversation about the importance of post-secondary educational access for those in prison, jail, and among the recently released. Dr. Miller set up a program in New York that awarded college credits to incarcerated individuals with state assistance that paid for those credits. He is doing the same thing in Pennsylvania as a recipient of federal funding.
