Broken Bonds, Broken Lives and Positive Psychology: Strategies for Resilience and Inner Strength - A Continuing Education Event offered by the School of Social Work

Friday, October 19, 2012 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This daylong event will feature Charlene Messenger, Ph.D., a licensed school psychologist and mental health therapist. She will present a morning workshop on "Broken Bonds, Broken Lives" and an afternoon workshop on "Positive Psychology: Strategies for Resilience and Inner Strength." Both workshops offer three contact hours of continuing education for social workers. Open to students and members of the public. Registration is required (an online registration site is pending). Event proceeds will benefit the Cheryl Evans Green Memorial Scholarship Fund and the UCF Social Work Alumni Chapter.
