Title: Lyapunov Functions in Population Models

Abstract: This presentation explores the use of Lyapunov functions in large-scale dynamical systems, with a focus on heterogeneous population models. We discuss recent advancements and ongoing challenges in proving global stability for both disease-free and endemic equilibria in infectious disease models. Of particular interest are recent developments in discrete-time epidemiological models, offering promising insights that may steer future directions
