KnightS.H.A.R.E.
Each year, the Office of Emergency Management hosts KnightS.H.A.R.E. This week-long series of classes and events helps the UCF community prepare for resilience in emergencies. There are CPR/AED, First Aid, self defence, weather emergency, shots fired, and other courses as well as a Police Department Town Hall open forum and the ever popular Emergency Expo on Memory Mall. Enjoy an afternoon of demonstrations and visiting & learning about local emergency vehicles - fire and emergency response, law encforcement, search & rescue, and more. Also, personnel from OneBlood will be on hand at our tent to talk to the campus community about what happens to the blood supply during an emegency - impacts to infrastructure, supply, distribution, and what the general population can do before and during emergencies to ensure adequate blood supply.
