What is an Orlando Magic Ideas Circle?
This event is to help students get ready for the 2025 Blackstone LaunchPad Florida Innovation Challenge Sponsored by the Orlando Magic. Orlando Magic Innovation Ideas Circles are team-based events where students develop bold ideas to reimagine fan engagement. Collaborate with peers, pitch creative solutions, and compete for prizes in our innovation challenge—all while gaining mentorship from startup experts and Magic insiders. Key Challenge Dates
- Live Virtual Session: August 18th 4pm on Zoom
- Info Sessions: August 27th and September 3rd, 12 pm @ the Blackstone LaunchPad
- UCF School Championship Round: September 10th-12th
- MANDATORY EVENTS

- 9/12 12-3PM In-Person @ BA1 Room 135
- State Championship (1st place only): October 16th-17th @ UCF Downtown Campus Dr. Phillips City Commons In-Person

Join us in this Ideas Circle to explore the future of fan engagement and experience! Dean provides perspective as a fan, season ticket holder, and consultant on fan engagement projects with the Orlando Magic for over a decade. This session will allow competitors to brainstorm and ask questions about his experiences and journey to gather information to help shape a solution to boost international fan engagement.
