UCF Remembers 911

Thursday, September 11, 2025 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Honoring. Reflecting. Uniting.

Each year, the Office of Military and Veteran Student Success (MVSS) proudly hosts UCF Remembers 9/11, a solemn and meaningful event dedicated to honoring the lives lost and the countless others impacted by the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

This community-wide remembrance ceremony is held in collaboration with the UCF Department of History, UCF Police Department, and the UCF Army and Air Force ROTC detachments. Together, we bring students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members together to reflect on the events that changed our nation and shaped a generation.

Through special remarks, symbolic tributes, and moments of silence, the ceremony recognizes the bravery of first responders, the resilience of survivors, and the continued service of our military and veteran community.
