Agentic AI and the Future of Digital Making

Thursday, November 6, 2025 11 a.m. to noon

Join us to explore agentic artificial intelligence (AI) as a cultural technology and view its transformative ( and some might say ominous) potential for digital humanities research and practice.

We’ll examine:

  • Distinctions between agentic AI and generative AI
  • Uses of agents and subagents with Perplexity. AI's Comet and Claude Code
  • Practical research and digital making applications — and implications for our collective
    labor

This session is open to all faculty and students, and is sponsored by Texts & Technology and the Center for Humanities and Digital Research.
