This is UCF's event to participate in International Observe the Moon (K)Night, a worldwide event that invites the public to learn about the Moon, lunar science, the night sky, and space exploration. We will have telescopes available for everyone to take a peek at our nearest celestial neighbor as well as at several other available astronomical objects. We will also have tables set up with learning activities, space-related RSO info, and media from UCF Libraries.
This event is free, and there is no schedule, so visitors can drop by any time during the event interval. Come early or come late. However note that sunset occurs after the start of the event, so students attending this event for Knights Under The Stars or for AST 2002 need not arrive until at least 7:30 pm.
Note that this event happens weather permitting. In case bad weather cancels the event, that info will be posted on the Robinson Observatory webpage.
