The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) supports UCF undergraduates who are conducting research and taking courses at UCF over the summer. The program is designed to help students access research opportunities, and students who are just beginning a project are most welcome to apply!
Fellows will conduct independent research over the summer under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Throughout the summer, they will also participate in professional development workshops and receive support on the challenges of their research. Their summer research will culminate in a poster presentation at the end of the summer with their peers.
Fellows will also receive a $2,000 scholarship with the requirement that they take at least one credit course during Summer A or C semester!
