Tie-Dye Shirts for Harbor House

Tuesday, March 28, 2017 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

VUCF Arts and Recreation week continues with "Tie-Dye Shirts for Harbor House". Harbor House of Central Florida is an innovating organization that guides the way for safer communities everywhere by developing, deploying and modeling best practices to eradicate domestic abuse in Central Florida. Harbor House also works to prevent and eliminate domestic abuse in Central Florida by providing critical life-saving services to survivors, implementing and advancing best practices, and educating and engaging the community in a united front.

Volunteer tasks will include making tie-dye shirts for the survivors that reside in the nearest Harbor House location. It is recommended that you wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. This event will be taking place in the Neptune Multipurpose Room from 1-4PM. By the end of this service event, students will understand the mission statement of Harbor House.
