“1st Annual International Education Week Photo Contest
Every year, UCF celebrates International Education Week as a collaborative effort initiated by the U.S Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, to promote programs of international education and exchange between the United States and the rest of the world. The UCF International Services Center is excited to announce a call for entries to its 1st Annual International Education Week (IEW) Photo Contest. In celebration of international education and exchange worldwide and the promotion of diversity and cross cultural understanding, ISC is proud to sponsor the IEW Photo Contest for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to share their international experiences with the UCF community.
Contest application, guidelines and rules of entry can be found at
http://iew.intl.ucf.edu. Entries should be submitted between October 5, 2012 and October 24, 2012 directly to iscevents@ucf.edu. Photo entries must be from travel outside of the United States within the past two academic years, between August 2010 and August 2012, and should exemplify the spirit of cultural exchange. All UCF faculty, staff, students and alumni are eligible to participate.
Winning photos and the top runners up will be featured at events during International Education Week 2012 and will also tour the UCF main campus on display during 2013. The top three photos will receive prizes donated by Colonial Photo & Hobby and Sam Flax Orlando.
