UCF Remembers

Lavender Council presents UCF Remembers on June 10th, 2026 in the Live Oak and Magnolia Ballrooms.

We invite students, faculty, staff, and the community to join us in honoring the 49 lives lost to the Pulse Tragedy ten years ago. We will be hosting a series of events in collaboration with both on and off campus partners.

To start, there will be a Pulse Remembrance archive including a display of materials from the University of Central Florida’s Library and the LGBTQ History Museum of Central Florida.

The display will be followed by a community recording workshop and participatory memorial focused on collective listening and shared remembrance led by The University of Colorado Boulder.

Ending the day will be a series of speeches from our community reflecting on the Pulse Tragedy. Our speakers will guide us through honoring the 49 lives lost.
