The U.S. Department of State is focused on accomplishing America's mission of diplomacy at home and around the world. The Foreign Service is dedicated to representing America in other countries.



Learn about career and student program opportunities in the State Department, including year-round student internships at U.S. embassies and in Washington, scholarships, and the various tracks for those interested in permanent employment. US citizenship required but all students and alumni are welcomed.
