Steve Jennings
Steve Jennings currently serves as Vice President of Underwriting at Philadelphia Insurance Company leading the company’s southeast underwriting operations. In 1993, he graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Communications and began his insurance career with Federated Mutual Insurance as a Marketing Representative. He spent 10 years in various marketing roles with Federated, both as a sales agent and marketing manager with stints in Owatonna, MN; Dalton, GA; Baton Rouge, LA; and Jackson, MS. Ultimately, Steve moved back to his hometown of Atlanta, GA and took on the responsibility of Regional Underwriting Manager for the southeast United States. During his time in this position, he earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. In 2008, Steve joined Wachovia Insurance Services, then Aon Corporation, as a Fortune 500 commercial insurance broker before joining Philadelphia Insurance Company where he has served for the past five years.
John Bell
John Bell currently serves as Regional Vice President for Philadelphia Insurance Co. In this role he is directly responsible for the Marketing team and works closely with the Account Management, Underwriting and Claims departments to ensure the profitable growth and development of the Florida Region. John graduated from The University of Minnesota, Duluth earning a BA in Economics. In 1995 he moved to Chicago where he joined a credit life insurer before returning to Duluth in 1996 to become an independent insurance agent. In Duluth, John was active with the Rotary, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and served on the boards of UDAC, and the Depot Foundation. While earning his Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) and Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC), John specialized in working with chemical treatment centers, mental health organizations and other community support organizations.
In 2005, John joined Philadelphia Insurance Companies as a marketing representative and leader of an expansion territory in Houston, Texas. While in Texas, John added to his professional designations by earning his Associate in Management (AIM) and is also a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
