Evaluating the Evidence: Arson Scene to the Courtroom
Arson is a violent crime that leads to significant loss of life and property each year. Much of the physical evidence is altered or destroyed in the fire, often making the crime difficult to detect and prosecute. This presentation will address these difficulties and the role that modern forensic science plays in removing the challenges of arson investigation and prosecution.
