Spoken Word, Hispanic Identity: Mine, Yours, Ours

Wednesday, September 20, 2017 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

To celebrate the voices and stories of (extra) ordinary members of our community, both UCF and beyond, we invite you to share your "Spoken Word Poetry" on what it means to be Hispanic in Central Florida or part of Central Florida’s Hispanic community. We also welcome the reading or recitation of your published/unpublished poetry, or poetry written by your favorite poet. Presentations may be in English, Spanish or both. This event features the reading of original poetry by UCF’s Pegasus Professor Humberto López Cruz, from his collections Escorzo de un instante and Festinación.

Please contact Lisa.Nalbone@ucf.edu to reserve your spot.
