DESCRIPTION

Schools and organizations can play a role in promoting financial literacy if our nation is to return to financial health. State Farm and UCF College of Business will partner to host this workshop, led by Paul Gregg, assistant chair, UCF Department of Finance.

"What Every College Student Needs to Know About Money" will comprise of a 3-part discussion on personal financial management. Starting from budgets, going into long term financial planning, and ending with understanding how to make investments. This workshop will help prepare students for a lifetime of worthwhile personal financial planning. The tools they will learn are useful, realistic, and easy to work into their regular daily routine.

It will be open to ALL UCF students.

Join us for one of two sessions of on Monday, October 30 in the Pegasus Ballroom.

Two Sessions:

    • 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Session 1

    • 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Session 2

Agenda for Each Session

    • 10 Minute Welcome/Intro from Dean Paul Jarley

    • 40 minutes presentation from Prof. Paul Gregg, Department of Finance

    • 15 minutes Q&A
