Join geographer Dr. Joseph Kerski in a lively discussion filled with demonstrations of live web mapping tools and skills such as geo-awareness, storytelling, citizen science, curiosity, 3D GIS, and others that are increasingly relevant to the 21st Century and affect our everyday lives. 

Joseph Kerski is a geographer who focuses on supporting and fostering spatial thinking and the use of geospatial technologies at all levels of education and society. He has served in federal agencies (NOAA, US Census Bureau, USGS), nonprofit organizations (president of the national council for geographic education (NCGE), in academia (he teaches at the University of Denver and in online MOOCs), and in private industry (he serves on the Esri education outreach team).
