On November 16th, take the Sleep Out Challenge! Join UCF students and faculty for UCF's School of Social Work's Student Solidarity Sleep. The Solidarity Sleep Out is an opportunity for people to take action and let the world know that we will not stand by quietly while young people go homeless and hungry in the United States.
By committing to sleeping outside for just one night outside of Lake Claire, you will take an active part in a national movement to end youth homelessness in the United States. You will be experiencing a tiny bit of what it is like to be homeless, sleeping in cardboard boxes or sleeping bags. The money raised will support Covenant House. Non-perishable food items will be collected and donated to UCF Knights Pantry benefiting UCF Students.
