Stories of the Holocaust

Tuesday, October 22, 2013 noon to 2 p.m.
On October 22, 2013 UCF Hillel is participating in UCF's Diversity week through a bringing a Holocaust Survivor to speak to students about his experiences during the Holocaust. The survivor will be speaking in the Key West ballroom of the student union, 218AB from 12- 2. This event is also marking Hillel remembering the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht and allowing the students to recognize and learn what happened on that fateful night.

This survivor will be speaking to students about his experiences throughout the holocaust and afterward students will be participating in a project called Generation Z Project (GenZ), whose sole mission is to connect college students to the stories of Holocaust and Genocide survivors in expressive/artistic ways using art, music, social media, technology, and any other creative methods. The main goal of GenZ is to share and capture the important stories of Holocaust survivors.
