Tuesday, February 11, 2014 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
A series of presentations at UCF's STOKES Advanced Research Computing Center will reveal how UCF researchers are using high performance computing to expand their advanced research capabilities. Sessions are set for Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Partnership III Building, 3039 Technology Parkway next to campus. The event is open to faculty, students and the community at no charge, but an RSVP is requested (thompson@ist.ucf.edu) as space is limited. Special guest speaker, Dr. Daniel A. Reed from the University of Iowa, will give a talk about the future of technical computing requirements. Presentations by several of UCF's faculty who use the STOKES supercomputer in their research will be included.
