Health care providers at the UCF Health Center will let the students ask all the questions on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at their semi-annual health career day event.
The event is held at the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester and allows students to get first-hand knowledge about a wide range of medical professions. This year the panel includes a family physician, a sports medicine physician, a physician assistant, an advanced registered nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, a dietician, a physical therapist, a pharmacist, a dentist and a dental hygienist. The event is supported by the Office of Pre-Professional Advising who can assist students in applying to schools for these professions.
The goal of the event is to help students who are unsure about medical careers learn about the great variety of jobs involved in medical care. All the professions represented are staffed at the UCF Health Center. Refreshments will be served.
