The Refugee Plays: A Staged Reading

Sunday, April 8, 2018 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The National Endowment for the Arts' Big Read

Directed by Theatre UCF faculty member Mark Brotherton, “The Refugee Plays” is a series of short plays that explore the experiences of refugees and undocumented immigrants in the United States, shining a carefully placed spotlight on certain legal, social and economic difficulties faced by this population and humanizing an oft-misunderstood group.

UCF Celebrates the Arts is an annual eight-day showcase featuring interactive exhibitions of student artwork and performances in Visual and Performing Arts. Tickets will be available starting March 1. For a complete schedule, ticket reservations and other information, visit the festival’s website at www.arts.ucf.edu.
