Zoom Call // Acute Care NP Graduate Certificate

Thursday, June 7, 2018 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Hop on a Zoom Call with Dr. Christopher Blackwell to learn about the college's relatively new professional graduate certificate program for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner role.

This program is designed for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) who are already licensed and board-certified and who would like to either expand their knowledge to include management of the acutely ill hospitalized patient or whom are already working in this area but would like to ensure their professional credentials match their practice setting. This is ideal, for example, for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) working in the hospital but who doesn't have the AGACNP credential. Also, if you're currently working in the hospital as an NP and would like to pursue the AGACNP professional certificate program, Dr. Blackwell can work with you in using some of your clinical work as an NP in the hospital towards meeting the clinical hour requirements of the program. No GRE requirement.
