Run.Walk.Roll Benefiting Wounded Warriors - Operation Giveback's 4th-annual road races at UCF

Saturday, May 10, 2014 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Operation Giveback and race host CSC will honor the family of fallen hero Private First Class Christopher McCloud, WW2 veterans Rear Admiral Alene Duerk, the first woman selected for flag rank in the U.S. Navy and Army Command Sergeant Major Shakes as well as many local wounded warriors.

Each of these warriors served with honor, all gave some and some gave all, now it is time to give back and say thank you.

The race will take place at Memory Mall. Honors to the veterans and their families will take place both prior to and following the race events.

In addition to the race, attendees and participants are encouraged to take part in prize raffles and the silent auction with proceeds directly benefiting wounded warriors. The family friendly event features a Kids' Zone with kids' races, face painting and fun activities for children of all ages.

Operation Giveback (OGB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by veterans of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. OGB is committed to helping the men and women of the U.S. military who have been wounded in action and their family members, by recognizing that they have served our country with pride, distinction, honor, and in some cases have paid the ultimate price.

100% of all donations raised from the 4th Annual Operation Giveback 5K/15K Run.Walk.Roll and Warrior Kids Race (minus race expenses) will support wounded warriors, their families, and the children of our fallen heroes. Read More
