ARCC GPU Workshop

Tuesday, June 26, 2018 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The ARCC will be hosting a workshop to help users learn how to use our new GPU cluster, Newton. The workshop will be on Tuesday, June 26 from 2:30p - 4:30p in Partnership III room 233. You will learn how to access our resources, how to request GPUs, and how GPU accounting is done. Moreover, there will be some hands-on exercises running custom CUDA code, as well as a TensorFlow application.
Participants are expected to bring a laptop to participate. If you do not bring a laptop, you will have to follow along without the hands-on experience.

Participants are also expected to already have an account on Newton. If you do not already have one, please read our user agreement and fill out a user registration form (below). Note that students will need a faculty member's consent to be attached to his or her allocation.
