people will experience a traumatic effect sometime during their lives. How people respond to the events, and who develop posttraumatic stress disorder
(PTSD) remains unclear. In this presentation, we will examine the various
types of trauma, the various responses to these events, and the disorder known
as PTSD. In addition, an innovative treatment program for combat-related
PTSD will be presented.
