Provost Candidate Open Forum

Please plan to attend an open forum with our third candidate for the position of Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Elizabeth Dooley, Ed.D. The forum will be an opportunity to hear Dr. Dooley's vision for UCF’s academic future and to ask questions.

Elizabeth A. Dooley, Ed.D., serves as the University of Central Florida’s interim provost, vice provost for the Division of Teaching and Learning, and dean of the College of Undergraduate Studies. Prior to coming to UCF in 2015, Dooley spent 30 years at West Virginia University (WVU), the most recent 20 years in leadership positions. She served as WVU’s associate provost for Undergraduate Academic Affairs, the founding dean of the University College, and interim dean of the College of Education and Human Services. Dooley also was the department chair of Curriculum Instruction/Literacy Studies and Special Education as well as the director of numerous university programs throughout her tenure at WVU.

Dooley earned a doctorate of education and a master of arts in special education from WVU as well as a bachelor of arts from Alderson Broaddus College.
