Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine Visit to UCF

Monday, October 8, 2018 noon to 4 p.m.

Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine will be visiting UCF to meet with students for one-on-one appointments on Monday, October 8th from 12:00-4:00 pm. Dr. Hal Lippman, Executive Associate Dean for Nova, will be on hand to answer your individual questions about Nova or the D.M.D program in general, help you understand any aspects of the application process, and help you decide if this is the right option for you.

If you are unable to schedule an appointment, Dr. Lippman will be presenting to PDSA on Monday, October 8th at 5:30 pm, location TBD.

Nova offers a four-year curriculum divided into the first two years of fundamentals and the second two years of rotations and advanced study. The rotations challenge you to help underserved and highly vulnerable populations. The entire curriculum is organized around four themes of Patient Care Foundations, Clinical Practice of Dentistry, Public Health and Primary Care, and Human Biology and Disease. With clinics available on campus and in nearby communities, you'll have direct experience with patients of various ages and backgrounds. A high-tech simulation laboratory prepares you to avoid making mistakes on live patients. Highly experienced preceptors and faculty group practice leaders provide early introductions into clinical settings.
