UCF Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), in
collaboration with School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD) and Student
Disability Services (SDS), is excited to announce the
2015 Healing Art
Exhibition- Art Out Loud: Emerging from the Shadow. Our mission is to highlight the healing power of art and expression.
The theme is about emerging from the shadow and into the light, where you
are showcasing
all parts of you. Whether or not there is a part of you
that has felt ashamed, oppressed, marginalized, bullied, this exhibit is about
celebrating and empowering yourself. Our hope is to bring ABILITY and strength
into the forefront. This juried 2-D art exhibit showcases the exceptional artwork
of UCF students, faculty, staff and alumni. We invite you to attend the
Opening Reception at CAPS
on February 19th, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm. There will be food,
refreshments, live music, award announcements, and, of course, incredible
artwork!
