The School of Performing Arts houses both the Music and Theatre Departments which perform on UCF campus and in the Central FL community.
The Syrinx Trio came together in 2013 through their passion for double reed music with Nermis Mieses, oboe; Susan Nelson, bassoon; and Xavier Suarez, piano. The ensemble performs frequently at double reed events, on the radio, and at the 2014 International Double Reed Society Conference (IDRS).
