    The UCF Wind Ensemble is comprised of approximately 50 of the finest wind and percussion students at the University of Central Florida. Performing literature of the highest caliber. the Wind Ensemble presents two to three concerts per semester at local, regional and national venues.

    UCF has two Jazz Chamber Groups. These small groups perform music appropriate to the level of musicianship in the group. Repertoire and improvisation skills are the main focus of these groups. The Jazz Chamber groups perform frequently around Central Florida.

    The Central Florida SaxFest features activities for middle school, high school, college and community players, including performances, clinics and a saxophone band reading session. Bring your saxophone! There will also be vendors displaying saxophones and related products.

    Come sing one memorized selection for the voice faculty at UCF in preparation for MPA or your college audition. We will work with you in a master class setting and offer feedback. Parents are encouraged to attend the welcome meeting at 1:00 p.m.; it will offer suggestions/tips on how to support their student’s pursuit of a college music degree.
