Caving, Whitewater Rafting, and Hiking

Thursday, July 18, 2019 midnight to Sunday, July 21

Tumbling Rock Cave is one of Alabama’s finest caves. With over six miles of surveyed passage, it offers beginning and experienced cavers alike a true wild cave experience. The Chattahoochee River hosts the longest urban whitewater rafting in the world. It is described to be as "Wild as Colorado and Warm as Costa Rica". This is a 2.5 mile, man-made run which offers the perfect combination of fun and adventure that is unlike anything else on the east coast. Take the opportunity to explore and experience both of these natural wonders and top it all off with a visit to Providence Canyon, dubbed as the "Little Grand Canyon" because of its steep-sided, colorful canyons of carved sandstone.

How do I sign up? Registration is *only* in person on a first-come, first-served basis at the Outdoor Adventure Center (on the bottom floor of the Recreation and Wellness Center) during the OAC's open hours.
