Teaching
Colloquium: International
Learning with Technology
Do your courses have a global or international
component? Would your students benefit from multicultural perspectives on a
topic or issue you discuss in class? Are you struggling with instructional
strategies that help your students build global or intercultural competencies?
Technology might be able to help you bridge the distance. One of President Hitt’s
five goals for the university is to provide international focus to our
curricula and research programs, and Instructional Designer Wendy Howard from
the Center for Distributed Learning has compiled several strategies that might
just work for you. In this workshop she’ll share some of the research in this
field, highlight a few case studies where UCF professors have experienced
success with these strategies, and most importantly we’ll brainstorm how these
strategies might work for you.

Office of Research & Commercialization - Dr. Vaidyanathan will provide an overview of services,

College research grant project investigating buyers' remorse in vacation
ownership products.
