The Orlando Police Department (OPD) is dedicated to providing a diversified workforce, which includes the hiring of qualified female candidates. OPD invites you to attend a Women in Law Enforcement Breakfast on Oct. 15th from 8:30am-10:00am in CSEL 115. All majors welcome.
Space is limited to the first 25 students who RSVP: Visit
KnightLink, click events, click workshops, select the breakfast, click RSVP.
During
the breakfast you will meet two OPD female officers who will share their
personal experiences with the recruiting process and academy training in
addition to discussing their law enforcement careers. You will also have the
opportunity to speak to the recruiter about the hiring and selection process,
and to ask any questions about career opportunities and benefits.
You too
can join the ranks of women who have contributed to the success of this
Department, and who have enjoyed the rewards of their career, which include a
great salary, excellent benefits, educational reimbursement for future
education, and additional pay for having a degree from the University of
Central Florida. Questions about the breakfast may be directed to Career
