Banana River is a lagoon system that is located on the east coast of Florida which has a diverse habitat of drift algae, oyster bars, salt marshes, and mangrove swamps. This trip takes participants along a 3.5-mile route that ends in a paddle through a beautiful section of mangrove tunnels where trip leaders will teach about the life cycle of a mangrove tree. A great introductory trip to paddle boarding where experienced trip leaders will teach you how to stand and paddle!

Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard on the Banana River. Sign up at the Outdoor Adventure Center to register for the trip between 12pm and 6pm. The OAC is room 154, located on the first floor of the Recreation and Wellness Center, just past the racquetball courts, down the long hallway, across from the RWC Wet Classroom and Men's locker room entrance to the lap pool.
