The Division of Teaching and Learning is hosting a campus-wide book club for faculty, staff and students. The book, Trans* In College by Z Nicolazzo (University of Arizona), is a foundational study on trans students' experiences across large universities like ours. Through reading and conversing, members will learn about the experiences of students, peers, colleagues and friends, and how to support them at UCF. A copy of the book will be provided for all members.
Discussions will be facilitated by Faculty Fellow for Inclusive Excellence and Associate Professor of Communication Jennifer Sandoval (She/Her) with undergrad student and Faculty Center researcher Autumn Wright (She/They). We will actively work to ensure that these spaces are inclusive and accessible for all members.
