Evening Hike

Wednesday, September 11, 2019 5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.

Watch the day fade to dusk while hiking through a peaceful forest. We'll watch the sunset, and then weather permitting, stargaze. Hal Scott Preserve is a beautiful example of Florida's treasured longleaf pine ecosystem featuring gopher tortoises, barred owls, and bobcats. Come enjoy this unique evening hike experience!

To register for the trip, please visit the Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC) in the Recreation and Wellness Center. Our open hours are:

Monday - 12:00pm-6:00pm

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 2:00pm-6:00pm

Friday - 12:00pm-6:00pm

The OAC is room 154, located on the first floor of the Recreation and Wellness Center, just past the racquetball courts, down the long hallway, across from the RWC Wet Classroom and Men's locker room entrance to the lap pool.

*AFTER REGISTERING FOR THE COURSE, PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND THE PRE TRIP MEETING*
