Welcome brave campers to the UCF Arboretum Spooktacular! We at the UCF Arboretum are dying for you to join us at the Arboretum Park for a spooky night of outdoor frights.
Venture through our terror trail (Friday night ONLY), if you dare.
Trail opens at 7:00 PM and closes at 11:00 PM.
- 6 - 9 PM Costume Contest
- 7 PM Domino's Pizza on site beginning at 7:00 PM while it lasts.
- 7 - 11 PM Terror Trail Open
- 9:30 PM Screening of "Beetlejuice"
Come dressed as your favorite mythical, undead, slightly dead, completely dead, magical creature or favorite character and enter our costume contest.
Costume contest will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Pictures will be taken of contestants and posted on Facebook for voting, polls will close on Friday, November 1 at 11:59 PM. Winners will be announced Monday, November 4 via Facebook.
- First Place: A $20.00 Lazy Moon gift card and Arboretum T-Shirt.
- Second Place: A $15.00 Chipotle gift card and Arboretum Tote Bag
- Third Place: A $10.00 Chick-fil-A gift card and Arboretum Tote Bag
For those of you brave enough you may spend the dead night at our Arboretum Park Camp Out, there will be a camping ground for you to join other brave souls and pitch your very own tent. For those that do not own a tent, and still wish to camp; our friends at UCF Outdoor Adventures will be renting tents for a fee, be sure to contact them before the event. http://rwc.sdes.ucf.edu/programs/outdoor-adventure/equipment-rentals
Campers wishing to camp must pre-register by emailing the number of tents, number of people per tent that will be at the event along with their emergency contact info to email@example.com. Pre-registration starts on September 30th, and ends on Thursday, October 24th.
On the day of the event campers MUST check in from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Campers must check in before 7:00 PM in order to pitch a tent. Campers arriving after 7:00 PM will not be allowed to pitch a tent, but can participate in other activities.
Surviving campers check out at 9:00 AM the following morning.
