Historically the term: "Jumping the Broom" has various meanings depending on an individual's culture, ethnicity, birth country, and etc. In the context of organization and institution leadership, "Jumping the Broom" depicts an individual, department, division, or organization/institution taking necessary steps to enhance leadership quality that fosters, empower employee performance. This presentation will examine and explore various leadership styles, how these leadership styles can be beneficial if used appropriately, provide meaningful tips, spark dialog, and how leadership styles have the potential to boost employment performance.
